Wow! Absolutely speechless at the great marina this is. Looks beautiful all around, clean everywhere, and the town is amazing. Edgar was a rockstar during our short stay and the main reason we will come back. His team is motivated and follows his lead to providing a stellar customer experience. YOU HAVE TO STOP HERE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I have been a customer of Morningstar Southport for only a few months but cannot rave enough about the service and facilities of this marina. The office staff made renting a dry rack administratively simple and the yard / dock crew are responsive and a joy to see on every launch. They are also extremely helpful in connecting me with terrific service providers for my new investment. Highly recommended!

Spending another great 4th of July at Morning Star Marina ! Wonderful staff all around. "Webo's down home cookout" truck was sensational 👌 😋 We enjoyed our meal & drinks in the pavilion with a Salubrious Breeze while listening to music by"Rusty Bones "They were great, as always !

The dockhands were absolutely amazing - this is the first marina I have been to where service is at the forefront of their business model. My family and I came to get some fuel late afternoon and were greeted by two welcoming dockhands, Edgar and Gabriel. Regardless of all the movement happening at the time, and a full dock, their customer service and attention to detail did not vanish. Come every year and never get tired of it. This marina is one of the only ones that demonstrates a mastery of professionalism but still keeps the mom & pops family feeling through its staff members. Facilities and restaurants are close and clean, docks are nice, and prices are reasonable. The boat house manager, Edgar, was exceptional. Responded to my radio call quickly, gave me clear directions to the fuel dock, and calmed our nervousness throughout the docking process.
