Great staff and unbelievable facility am so glad I have my boat stored there
The dockhands were absolutely amazing - this is the first marina I have been to where service is at the forefront of their business model. My family and I came to get some fuel late afternoon and were greeted by two welcoming dockhands, Edgar and Gabriel. Regardless of all the movement happening at the time, and a full dock, their customer service and attention to detail did not vanish. Come every year and never get tired of it. This marina is one of the only ones that demonstrates a mastery of professionalism but still keeps the mom & pops family feeling through its staff members. Facilities and restaurants are close and clean, docks are nice, and prices are reasonable. The boat house manager, Edgar, was exceptional. Responded to my radio call quickly, gave me clear directions to the fuel dock, and calmed our nervousness throughout the docking process. Morningstar Marina is the coolest Marina I have been too on the North Carolina Coast. Everything is new, clean, and modern. Credit card machines at the dock. Fuel, cold drinks, everything. They even have an enclosed dog park for your dog. Edgar was the dock hand that greated me at the dock. He monitored the radio and told me exactly how to get to the marina. He helped me tie up when I got here and he showed me around the property. The operation is first class. Put this marina on your list. You won't regret it.
