Finally! I've been waiting for this restaurant to open here since eating at this restaurant in Las Vegas. All I have to say excellent all around. The service from the moment we arrived was inviting and polite. They knew the names of everyone at our table and made sure to acknowledge by father's birthday. Our server Pedro was amazing. The attention to detail was excellent and his recommendations were on point. I was unsure about a certain wine and without asking he brought me a little to try. This is what makes this place sta... read more
I did not have a good experience here -- period. I came with a group and because the restaurant is so beautiful, we expected the food to be on par. It was not. From salty pasta to undercooked pasta to bland calamari and an inedible artichoke. I privately messaged the restaurant as I figured don't need to air my grievances publicly. At first they were apologetic and wanted to invite me back in. Then.... They ghosted me. That was the final straw.
DO NOT GET THAT SALAD Everything else was delicious but no idea why that is so off. Very dark so not good for people that struggle with reading menus. Kinda Loud too
Hard no! With all the great restaurants in Miami this one falls short. The room is very quiet the staff looks like their afraid to be working their. The food was not what is acclaimed to be that said. The so called celebrity chef Evan Funke is never in the kitchen you're not eating Funke's food your eating a line cooks food.
My wife and I walked in dressed in khaki pants and polo shirts. There was plenty of availability at the restaurant (near-empty) and we were not in violation of the dress code. There are people who show up in athletic clothes, etc. This place does not require suits. We were only offered to sit at the pizza counter and not a real table. There were 100 open tables. The one in Los Angeles provided an excellent experience, this place missed the mark.
Beautiful space and great vibe, but a bit underwhelmed overall. I waited almost 20 minutes for my first drink, which set the tone for the night. The food looks good but honestly felt overrated, not quite matching the hype or the price point. That said, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the music they played was great - i shazamed almost every song. Skip the Ragu Pasta (too salty) and the Wagyu Steak (not worth it).
Upon arriving the service with both hosts was warm and inviting. We had 5:45pm reservations and the first ones in. No one was there for atleast an hour. We were seated, our server felt like the complete opposite. We felt rushed with a disconnected demeanor. The food was tasty but it did not feel special. A lot of hype and I couldn't exactly say there was any stand out moments or dishes. Had 2 classic cocktails, dirty martini and old fashioned, meh. $23 for each cocktail, I've had better ones at Flannigans for half the price!... read more
Limited menu, pretentious and so LOUD I couldn't have a conversation with anyone. Food was average. You literally cannot SEE the menu. The restaurant is lovely with good service which doesn't make up for the other issues. What annoyed us is they charge you a 20% service charge. Then they have a line way below that for an additional tip. So we way OVERPAID the tip. Do that once and you just lost a customer.
If Mother Wolf aims to impress, it certainly starts with the décor...but not necessarily in a good way. The interior feels like it was plucked straight out of a gaudy Las Vegas playbook: all flash, no warmth, no intimacy. Towering ceilings give the space an echo chamber of noise. Conversations ricochet off cheap wallpapered walls, and any attempt at a relaxed meal is drowned in the chaos. As for the food? Mediocre at best. Our snide waiter really pushed the squash blooms, but they were overfried, mushy, doughy and the cream... read more
