We dined at Mother Wolf this evening and were blown away! This restaurant from the ambience, to the service, to the food was nearly impeccable! The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Every member of the service staff was not only attentive but knowledgeable! Every time a dish was set down our table, the food runner would would tell us which dish they were with a brief description. As a Miami foodie who frequently travels to Italy, I have to say Mother Wolf delivered an experience that transported me straight to Rome on a Thursday night. I visited to celebrate my mother's birthday, and every detail exceeded my (very high) expectations. Gorgeous restaurant! The moment you walk in you feel transported to Italy. Had a lovely bottle of wine, and started with the fiori di zucca (squash blossoms) they were fresh and hot and delicious, we added just a touch of salt to them. Next was the burrata e crudo... wow! Service was very attentive and nice, great portions, and food was delicious and served warm. Finally the design of the restaurant was beautiful, a bit loud but can get past it for the cozy vibe.
Excellent experience. From checking in at the front through to paying the bill, the staff are great. The interior is large, really well designed and hits the balance between cool and elegant. The food was outstanding. There's no shortage of Italian restaurants and pasta throughout Miami, but Mother Wolf truly stood out. We ordered a salad, 2 starters and 2 pastas. Everything was just great. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more dishes.
There's a lyric in Ice Cube's "Steady Mobbing" about jumping out of the low rider to come back 10 pounds lighter from the bathroom. I mention this in a 5-star review because Mother Wolf's soundtrack during dinner last night was all the classic hip-hop of my youth - including Ice Cube - and the bathroom was really nice and well maintained, even with candles. Incredible food experience. Waiter Felipe M was spectacular, knowledgeable and accommodating. Wife and I took the kids to celebrate birthday. Amazing food all around - one of best ribeyes ever had, temp cooked perfectly. Pastas were outrageous. Check out netflix documentary on head chef - show called chefs table about evan funke. Will def be back to this gem of a place :)
Loved this restaurant! I've been seeing it all over social media and couldn't wait to try for myself. Right away I absolutely loved the decor and vibe, it was super pretty and the restaurant itself is huge! Right in the front there is an area where a chef makes fresh pasta daily, be sure to check that part out. Hostess was friendly and incredibly personable. Ambience- this restaurant gives Italian upscale. It's romantic/chic and over the top. The decor is top tier. You can even watch fresh pasta being made. Service- one thing about restaurants in South Florida is the hostess's are snobby and rude. At Mother Wolf, that is NOT the case. Everyone was friendly/nice and always smiling.
