I have moved 10 times with professional movers and this is by far my worst move. My IPad was stolen and I called to give them the address located on find me so they could cross reference the address with the movers from our move. Surely they would want to know if they have a thief on staff for everyone’s protection. It has been 3 calls to them and no return call. My wife and I hired move central to move us from the Bay Area to Oregon after multiple virtual walk throughs of our house and items and a fairly competitive bid from them. They have a lot of public reviews on Google and other locations that were positive, so it looked legitimate. Since hiring them, however, we've had non-stop issues, breaches of contract, borderline extortion, and lack of delivery. I hired Move Central to do my cross-country move, and it's been a nightmare. They sent a rep, Christian, to do a walk-through of my home and provide an estimate, which was just over $10k. My husband and I hired them, and on moving day they sent three loaders and a project manager, estimating that the job would take 3 hours. The movers were constantly on breaks, had no idea what they were supposed to be moving, and the project manager slept in the cab of his truck. Do not use these movers. Very, very dishonest. They quoted me a rate of $2350. Sent me a link with the quote. My sales rep Jay Ortiz disappeared completely when I needed his support to explain the agreement he quoted me. When it came to moving day, none of what he said was in the quote the dispatcher had. The dispatchers names were Hector and Pedro. Pedro ended up hanging up on me and said that he didn’t have any such rates that he was going by the rates in front of him and that was a total of $5,191. I was convinced that this was going to be the best move yet. However, this is a screwed up system #movecentralmovingandstorage has. They bring a moving truck to your house and stuff it full. Then they tell you that they are going to move all of this stuff into pods. $100/month storage for each pod. Movers at our house said we should be able to get everything in 3 pods. 5 pods later, we are paying $500/month for storage. We never got to see how full the pods were or how they are packed. Be warned: Your estimate and quote will be completely inaccurate. I had to pay over 1K to move a 3bd apartment 2 MILES. Original quote was ~$400. This is partly because they sent the San Diego team, which I had zero knowledge of, because that's their own logistical staffing issue. I found this service searching for local Tustin movers which they claimed to be. Look elsewhere, predatory and sketchy sales/billing team.

The team was very unprofessional and had absolutely terrible customer service. I have moved across country with other movers and have never had such issues as I had with Move Central - who only were responsible for loading and unloading a vehicle. They completely shattered the glass for a coffee table and due to their policy, they only offered to compensate $58 for a $720 coffee table. Word to the wise, do not EVER hire this company for your move unless you want it to take twice as long as it should, to have inexperienced movers have you do most of the work, & end up with over $1000 in damages that they refuse to reimburse!!!! The most unprofessional experience I have ever had

The worst moving experience I ever had. The movers smoked pot the whole time and were high throughout the move. They left my furniture unattended everywhere and my bed-frame was lost. Since they were high, took frequent breaks that added 16 hours of overtime for a 2 Bedroom condo that cost me $2,948.75.
