We hired Move Central to move us from Lake Forest to Roseville, CA. Move Central came to our home, did a walk thru & provided us an estimate to move our complete household long distance. This estimate included a pool table which they advertise as being equipped to handle. I donated half of my closet of clothing to Goodwill which was about 7 large yard trash bags. !! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I hired Move Central based on the positive reviews and it was a huge mistake that has cost me big time. I paid the price when Move Central's truck got stuck outside my building for 4hrs. To keep it short: Move Central made a big mistake which left me without any of my things (and no place to sleep!) and said they'd make it right. DO NOT USE MOVE CENTRAL MOVING AND STORAGE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!! THEY STOLE MONEY FROM OUR ACCOUNT AND CHARGED US $5,000 MORE THAN WHAT WAS QUOTED!! THEY DAMAGED OUR WALLS, FLOORS AND FURNITURE!!!! We used Move Central Moving and Storage for our move last week. Before the move there should have been a visual physical inspection for an accurate quote but this company chose not to do one. I'd give 0 stars if I could. I've never used the service but have delt with the drivers and based off that o wouldn't use or recommend them. Every morning they block my parking lot and I can't assess my business. I've asked them several times to move and to not block my business. Today I was greeted with threats of physical violence. Do your self a favor and run far far away from this company . I have NEVER been so disappointed and upset with a service in my life !!!!! Between the employees being high on the job , damaging my furniture and taking some that should have been a quick move took 9 HOURSSSSSSs . If I could give negative stars I would!! Worst experience ever!! We hired them to pack and move my 92 year old grandmother from one home to another. First they didn’t show up on the day they were suppose to, promised they would move her the next day. Showed up late the following day and didn’t bring enough packing supplies and didn’t want to work overtime so they only moved half her stuff. WARNING BUYER BEWARE!!!!! THIS MOVING COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THEY ARE THE WORST MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED...Sure they start as really nice and reputable people and offer discounts but as soon as you pay them they stop answering your phone calls. We had to pay them in cash and that is where they get you. We talked to Jay Ortiz, Frank, and George but once you pay them they ignore your phone calls. You can't even get a hold of a Manager. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They operate in the Bay Area as well. This company is a total rip off! Took them 11 hours to move a 2/2 apartment. Their workers would not wear their masks the entire time and I had to remind them. I was told I could be moved into my apartment by 4pm (I had a window of 1-4pm for move in or a $600 fine) and we didn't even leave my old unit until almost 4pm!
