I’ve taken my Boston Terrier to NVS twice - unfortunately, he has needed Emergency After-Hour Care twice - fortunately, NVS has been there to treat him! I couldn’t ask for better care and bedside manner - their employees truly care about your pet and never “shame” you for whatever has landed you and your furbaby in their ER. Dr. Good is AMAZING! Additionally, I’ve taken their first aid class and it was awesome! Totally worth the time to learn lifesaving skills like CPR and the heimlich! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Business response:

Emily, We are so glad we were able to help you and your sweet dog. All of us here at NVS are pet parents, so we know how hard it is to see our fur-babies sick or injured. We think of our patients as our own pets, so we love on them and treat them as if they were ours. Thank you, as well, for your very nice message and review. Our entire staff will enjoy reading your words. We wish all the best for you and your family (human and furry).

My senior (senile, deaf and blind) dog, Nemo, was seemingly on the downward decline. One morning last week, I brought him to see Dr Smith in ER. We talked about conservative measures vs the Gold Standard of care...I was given options and TLC. Nemo was also smooched and loved on while we were apart. He was apparantely... a Lady Killer. I feel Nemo and I received high quality care and emothional support. I am happy to say that Nemo has his appetite back. In fact, this morning he even had pep in his step! I am VERY ple... read more

We wish all the best for you, Nemo and the rest of your family.

We came in as a emergency referral from our usual vet when our jack Russell mix Tripp woke up on day 5 after being treated for a mild herniated disc, paralyzed in his back legs. We were immediately brought into a room and we had a treatment plan and consult within 30 minutes. We drove over an hour to see this vet. Our little guy is 4 and has had no health issues ever so we were devastated when something major like this happened. Dr. Smith, and Dr. House the neurologist who performed our pups emergency surgery to repair the r... read more

The staff was extremely caring. They treated my boy cat's urinary blockage as an emergency. He wouldn't have gotten better care if he had been human and in a hospital ER.

Business response:

Carole, Thank you for trusting us with your sweet kitty. Cats often suffer from urinary blockages which can be very serious problems. You did the right thing by taking quick action and bringing him in for medical care. We hope he continues to do well, and we wish all the best for you and your family (human and furry).
