I'm terrified! Sounds good when I started but now I feel I'm going to be ripped off. I need things in writing from the mail. I feel they aren't even in the U.S. I feel like the bank is from another country! I need more info to continue.

I filled out a pre-consult online application with this organization. During the online application process I typed in all zero's to replace my social security number to submit it. The representative had my credit record and social security number when we spoke the next day without me providing it. He was knowledgeable about the services they offer, but he could not explain how my personal information uploaded in their system without me providing it.

Business response:

Unfortunately our experience with this company turned out to be a big DUD. It started out great good info decent repay schedule/amount. Quickly turned nightmare when they started calling or emailing us every few months to ask for more money per month because their calculations weren't enough to pay off creditors in the time they allotted.Turns out they are a front for a loan company called REACH. Now I owe more to said company than my original TOTAL DEBT plus they missed 2 companies completely when they pulled our credit rep... read more

I had good credit with 6 of 7 of my creditors, decided to use National Debt Relief because of financial issues with low paying job to help consolidate my loans and just have one payment. I was told all loans would be covered. National Debt Relief set up a monthly plan for 4.5 years, so I thought once I started paying on my program plan, that my debt was taken care of and my payments were being used to pay back National Debt Relief. I was told not to contact any of my creditors. Now I've missed multiple payments to my credito... read more

Very Deceiving. I was told a completely different reality. The very first conversation with a rep there was full of false hope and lies. The cost especially! I waiting for months for the results. Extremely dissapointed. Save your time and money.

I have been in the program for a year and I have to say the process is easy and every single person that I have talked to has sounded very genuine and friendly. They are very thorough and very good at their jobs.My issue is with the settlement amounts. Every settlement offered is the SAME as the ones they send me - they negotiate NOTHING down. The fact they ALSO take 25% on top of the settlement (on the ORIGINAL AMOUNT NOT SETTLED AMOUNT) is a crime as they are what I thought is a " nonprofit financial counseling organizatio... read more

I thought I was consolidating my debit but once started I discovered all my creditors had to go to collections or get so late that they would make a deal to settle for less than owed which ended up raising the debt due to finance charges as the first payment to just one of the creditors took over 6 months to make the first payment. Make sure you get everything in writing before signing up so and check other programs and their fees first
