As a current student at Newman International Academy of Cedar Hill, I have attended this school in my sixth grade year up until senior. The school is located in the woods and from my understanding it used to be a college campus, but it now holds elementary to high school students. The school hosts activities in our event center or around the campus to keep students entertain and keep the motivated to work on their studies. At Newman International Cedar Hill overall a great experience as a high school student although some may not like school, Newman makes it a good learning environment and also challenges its student with opportunities to become better every day. NICH is a phenomenal school-it is so extremely friendly from its staff to its student. And the School embodies Christianity.
It’s a beauty hoop ,Christian based , qualified skilled teachers , diverse student groups, follows discipline guidelines well
My experience at Newman wasn't the worst but far from the best. The best parts about Newman for me would be the unique campus and how they incorporate agriculture into normal days of school. The worst part for me personally would be not being able to express my individuality by being forced to follow a strict uniform policy that didn't allow me to wear my hair how I like it.
I've been at Newman for & years now. The school has changed so much since the start and it will only continue to get better. The school could use a little more organization and excitement, but then again its still a new school.
A few things that I liked about Newman is the scenery of the campus. Our campus is on a 300-acre lot surrounded by woods so we got to see a lot of wildlife and enjoy the beauty of nature. I also liked the softball program at my school. The coach was fantastic and taught me so much about the game, prepared me for life, and my teammates became a second family to me. What I liked about Newman International Academy Cedar Hill was the faculty and staff and how serious about our safety and well being. My first few years at Newman was challenging at first but it’s a really great place to be yourself and also it’s a great place to better yourself and your education and more importantly it’s very safe for you. You don’t have to worry about anything and all you have to focus on is your education and make the best for yourself.
Great school with wonderful teachers! Teachers really care about their students and help them to achieve their potential and be successful.
