My experience at Newman wasn't the worst but far from the best. The best parts about Newman for me would be the unique campus and how they incorporate agriculture into normal days of school. The worst part for me personally would be not being able to express my individuality by being forced to follow a strict uniform policy that didn't allow me to wear my hair how I like it.
I've been at Newman for & years now. The school has changed so much since the start and it will only continue to get better. The school could use a little more organization and excitement, but then again its still a new school.
A few things that I liked about Newman is the scenery of the campus. Our campus is on a 300-acre lot surrounded by woods so we got to see a lot of wildlife and enjoy the beauty of nature. What I liked about Newman International Academy Cedar Hill was the faculty and staff and how serious about our safety and well being. My first few years at Newman was challenging at first but it’s a really great place to be yourself and also it’s a great place to better yourself and your education and more importantly it’s very safe for you. You don’t have to worry about anything and all you have to focus on is your education and make the best for yourself.
Great school with wonderful teachers! Teachers really care about their students and help them to achieve their potential and be successful.
The staff at NICH are great and will often offer tutoring twice a day. The campus is beautiful but in the winter and on cold/rainy days you have to walk outside to reach your classes and there is a rule that you can only wear solid colored coats approved by Newman even during extreme weather.
Great school, was great for helping me with sports and relationships. Teachers were caring and coaches were very kind
I liked being in a preparatory uniform. There needs to be more student activities and clubs available.
