The staff at NICH are great and will often offer tutoring twice a day. The campus is beautiful but in the winter and on cold/rainy days you have to walk outside to reach your classes and there is a rule that you can only wear solid colored coats approved by Newman even during extreme weather.
Great school, was great for helping me with sports and relationships. Teachers were caring and coaches were very kind
I liked being in a preparatory uniform. There needs to be more student activities and clubs available.
Newman International is a great school with fantastic teachers and curricular activities. It will strive you to work harder and become a great person that will achieve basically anything in life. Newman helps each students to become very technical , open minded , and also obedient.
The scenery is absolutely amazing, the walking factor in between buildings is defiantly one to be taken into consideration, also weather greatly affects school life. The staff regarding teachers are not like they used to be, and there could be problems if a teacher is out sick. Online courses due to COVID are going along fine, and overall no complaints. The counselor is always looking to help others with college questions and provides scholarship opportunities.
My 4 kids have been in Mansfield ISD, Venus ISD, and now Newman Cedar Hill. NICH far exceeds the quality of education that my kids received at MISD & VISD. One child struggles with math, another is Autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, and is medically complex. Everyone, (teachers, coaches, counselors, principals, maintenance workers) at NICH have gone above and beyond to help them succeed. Newman International Academy at Cedar Hill is a very unique campus because you get to have school on a real life campus. you also get to experience a college like environment. Newman is all about the love of learning, they want the students not just to pass, but they want the students to succeed in life and overcome what ever may come in there life. Newman International at Cedar Hill is a very beautiful campus surrounded by nature. Getting to different classes requires walking outdoors which many would oppose, but I found that it is an easy way to get daily exercise and relieve headaches. There are excellent teachers who just want to help students improve, which I love. This school offers a variety of classes and has many sports teams.
