The service was friendly. The food was very good. We enjoyed our experience at Nia.
Food is tasty. Not really a tapas place as the prices and small and medium plate portions larger than true tapas. Fine to share with one other but for many plates you would be hard pressed to share with four. They change the menu every week or so and print paper menus, but they never have enough to go around. For a place that lends itself to ordering in courses and rounds, the menu shortage is a deterrent.
We had a lot of fun sharing the dishes. Everything was good and every time we asked our server for a suggestion, it was a home run!!
food was very good and fresh! the only negative was the pricing. 90 dollars for a pitcher of sangria and 6 tapas, very expensive. we will not go back for that reason.
Our group or 4 ordered 9-10 dishes in total and enjoyed all but one (pig dish). We had a pre-theater reservation so the restaurant was uncrowded. It also meant good service.
I made a reservation at this restaurant for a surprise birthday dinner for my girlfriend. It was good. The food was great and ambiance was romantic. However, I was surprised with my bill as well. I brought a cake which from NY. They served it for our dessert but didn't know they were gonna charge a cutting fee. Wow! I should have brought my own knife! Lol! Anyway, overall it was ok coz my girl was really happy and surprised! :)
We went to Nia for a small group work evening outing and it fit the bill perfectly. Low key, good food, not rushed and just the right level of attention by our waiter.
I have gone to Nia with my boyfriend and with friends. Nia is perfect for both crowds. Food is so good! I would recommend the Feta and Lamb Meatballs to everyone...the Hummus is fantastic too! My favorite thing was the Red Sangria. It has a touch of cinnamon....delicious! Waiter was very attentive and helpful as well. All and all a great experience!
