Went to Nia during restaurant week. Even though we went for lunch, they were out of Our several of the advertised dishes; this was very disappointing. Our server was friendly and personable and did her best to appease us. Slightly disappointed on the cheese selections on the cheese tray because there were only two; but both were fantastic and there was plenty to share. Entrees were lamb meatballs - very good but a little too mint flavored for us (not being fans of mint on lamb). Winner of the meal was the Pumpkin Gnocchi - p... read more
I loved the food, the atmosphere, and the people. It was great!
Food was very good, highly recommend the baked goat cheese. Service was fair. I think if we had another server our experience would have been a lot more pleasant. She left our menu on our table and didn't even bother to check on us through our meal. After our table had been cleared after dessert we sat there for about 20 minutes and flagged down another server to get us our check. Tables are very close to each as well. We were seated before our reservation and had a wonderful corner table. The restaurant week menu had a great variety to choose from. Loved the mushrooms, the artisan cheeses, and the special mahi mahi may have been one of the best fish dishes I have ever ordered. We will definately go back!
Nia is a staple go-to place. However, some of their dishes tend to taste the same (e.g., ceviche // shrimp and avocado salad; calamari // grilled octopus). Try to get a variety of dishes to really get a taste of the good stuff. Recommendations: gnocci, baked goat cheese, lamb/feta meatballs).
Second time I have visited Nia and both times were fantastic. The food was perfect and service was fantastic. The atmosphere there is fun and light without being loud and distracting. I worry that this restaurant gets forgotten because of it's trendy neighbors. I have been to the trendy neighbors and Nia is just as good or an even better place to visit.
Tapas were all delicious. Ate way too much! Service was great and will definitely go back.
Had a wonderful time at Nia. It wasn't terribly busy, but it was early for a Saturday night. My wife and I chose several items each and loved everything we tasted. I really enjoyed the pumpkin gnocci. All the dishes were the perfect size for a couple bites for each of us, but we certainly did not leave hungry. We had an awesome time at our little table next to the window, never had to wait for the staff to see if we needed anything but they were not intrusive either. Parking is tough in that area, well worth it to pay for th... read more
Came here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend and his dad. It was a great spot to talk and eat at a slower place. I will definitely be back.
