Dr Hagood is a wonderful vet - He is kind, thoughtful, takes the time to explain, and has always been spot on in his diagnoses. In addition, Willy - who heads up the vet techs -has a quiet calming strength which gives my very fearful pup a sense of security. It's a gift! I'm forever grateful to Dr Hagood and to Willy for their compassion and expertise throughout my dear cat's last years. And grateful for the excellent care they continue to give to my sweet sweet dog.

I cannot adequately thank Dr. Steele, DVM, Paige, the surgical team, the night tech, and the ENTIRE staff at North Florida Animal Hospital for the incredible care and compassion that they provided to my cat, Gabriel, who presented with a urinary tract emergency. I can't say enough good things about this place. They provide the breadth and depth of care of a large hospital while still providing a family feel. Dr. Hagood, Dr. Steele, and Dr. Todd have taken wonderful care of my dog with bone cancer. They each went above and beyond to improve and extend her quality of life through this awful disease. Dr. Hagood used his lunch break to complete an amputation of her leg due to her severe pain. After dealing with a serious illness with my puppy at another vet, I learned the surgery to do what needed to be done was too complicated for the other vet. After talking to Dr. Simmons and Dr. Burkhead, we brought my girl to N. Fla Animal Hospital for surgery. Dr. Burkehead was willing to do the very complicated surgery. His conversations with me were very important to me and it was very obvious he cared about my girl.
