I can not believe that this facility is able to get rid of patients with dificult diagnosis and treatments, instead of helping the families that trusted them with the care of their family member. If wrong doings, or mistreatments are reported by a family member, patients, are subjected to Managements retaliation, and eviction when all along the answer is to properly care for the patient.

This facility was highly recommended to us, but unfortunately, did not live up to the hype. There were some very exceptional employees, but overall, the attitude there is poor. Administration is hard to contact and does not return phone calls. We were left waiting for two hours for a meeting at one point to discuss how my mother was doing and when she was scheduled to come home. My mother was admitted to North Houston Transitional Care on February 4, 2019. When she arrived at the facility her blood pressure medications were not available. I was informed that the medications would be delivered to the facility before midnight. After arriving at the facility the next morning I was informed that my mother did not receive her meds because the pharmacy failed to deliver them. I would not recommend this place. My 79-year-old Dad was transferred here for skilled nursing, rehab, and wound care. The rooms are nice as well as the facility. My family and I take turns staying with my Dad because we didn't want to leave him alone. He has a large wound on his heel that has kept him off his feet so his body was deconditioned. He also was getting over pneumonia. He wasn't assessed until a couple of hours after we got there. The staff didn't come around much and when they did they had a scowl on their f... read more
