A week ago, yesterday, our 14 year old lab had a fall around 2am and shattered her left front leg. She had bone cancer and she was to old to be put through surgery. Isabelle had an amazing dog life and although we knew our time was limited, no one is ever prepared to say goodbye to a family member. I have had 3 personal dogs that needed emergency temperament here and all I can say is these dogs would not be here if it weren't for Dr Totten, and Dr Coolman and their efficient staff. One dog hit by a horse and buggy breaking two legs and recovered fully thanks to DR BRAD COOLMAN, and went on to compete and is now twelve years old and going strong!! Had to bring our Boxer in after she escaped the fence and was hit by a car over the 4th of July weekend. We were referred from our local vet up here in Micahigan and i could have asked for a better Medical Staff! This was one of the hardest times we had ever experienced with pets as she had a very complicated break in her leg and some hip problems. We were visiting our daughter in Winona lake when our dog came down with bloat. The local vet said they didn't have the facility to operate and recommend us here. When we arrived they took our dog right away and he was in surgery shortly thereafter. Everyone was so nice and compassionate and today we are heading home !! Thank you
Absolutely fabulous facility. Professional, super competent and caring staff and veterinarians. I am so glad I brought Spy, my agility Border Collie, here for surgery. Highly recommend, especially for canine athletes!
We had to bring our 15 year old dog in about midnight last night for fever and bloody stools. The entire staff was very friendly and treated our baby well. It was very expensive but I knew it would be. Other than the cost (which were all thoroughly explained), we were satisfied with our experience.
Had to bring my Autumn here on 7/22/15. We transferred her from New Haven Pet Hospital who didn't have the equipment for further testing on her. When we brought her in they realized she was in critical condition by looking at her VERY pale gums and immediately took her to the back to start an IV with fluids. Receptionist was very sweet. We needed to wait for Dr. Totten to come in the next morning because she's the medicine specialist. Unfortunately Autumn possibly had leukemia or lymphoma.
