RecommendedFifteen years ago Logan (who was 6 months old at the time) had been hit by a truck. His left hind leg was a mess and he had a pneumothorax. My vet had stabilized him and sent us to NIVES. NIVES continued his care and eventually plated his acetabulum and pinned his tibia. He has enjoyed fifteen more years of running, hunting and chasing critters on our farm. We took our Maltese Remington to the Northeast Indiana emergency veterinary Thursday night. We are so thankful we did and he received excellent care and they saved his life. What wonderful Dr's.
They are amazing with the animals. And they are not just about money. They went above and beyond to make sure we could afford our dogs care
I would highly recommend. We brought our 15 year old cat in last night when she started having seizures. The staff were very busy and were moving as quickly as they could almost running at times to do what they needed to care for everyone’s pets. We ended up having to put our kitty down but they have a a book with her paw prints imprinted in it and also some with ink. They gave us all the time we needed and were very caring and supportive. They were also not very pricey especially for being an emergency vet.

NIVES goes above and beyond during your pets emergency. They handle stressful situations with comfort and ease. I’m so thankful for everyone there and the help and love they gave us while we there.
I highly recommend the entire facility. My Certified Therapy Dog, Hope, became unexpectedly ill and as with any dog owner it was tragic to me. Dr. Totten and the entire team treated Hope with such compassion and treated me with such empathy. I respect that Dr. Totten was always very honest with me, transparent with Hope’s status and respectful of my wishes.
