RecommendedWe took our dog there on a Sunday. Every staff member was very professional, kind, thoughtful. We were given options & time alone to discuss treatment options.
We had a wonderful experience with NIVES and our Border Terrier, Ruby. The doctor we saw was very thorough and treated Ruby as if she were her own dog. We felt completely confident in her recommendations. When we picked Ruby up the next day it was obvious she’d been well cared for and is like a new dog. We are very grateful for the way our dog was treated.

This facility is truly outstanding. Dr. Lockman is the best veterinarian I've ever encountered. His knowledge and compassion are remarkable. He personally contacted me to share my dog's diagnosis just 30 minutes after we left the emergency room. He also took the time to listen to me as I cried and offered me thoughtful solutions. He's genuinely a great person.
Thank you Dr. Harry and staff for taking such good care of Zoey while she was in your care. Dr. Harry went out of his way to make sure that Zoey was cared for by another team and coordinated her transfer there. The staff was so loving and kind even though they were very busy. Thank you!

Unfortunately we have had to make several visits to NIVES over the years. The majority of the visits ended with us assisting our beloved fur baby cross the rainbow bridge. Everyone is always extremely compassionate and kind. Even visits during stressful situations such as COVID or packed waiting rooms resulted in us feeling listened to and like we were VIP patients even though we were no more important than any other patient there. I couldn’t ask for a better place to go for medical emergencies with your animals.
