NIVES being open 24 hours saved my cat’s life. We took her in at 3am on a Sunday, if we would have had to wait until Monday morning when our regular vet opened, there’s a strong possibility she wouldn’t have made it. They kept me well informed the entire time and were able to get her back to stability and she has made a full recovery. I’m grateful to NIVES for their quick actions and knowledgeable staff ready to help, even in the middle of the night!
The vet was very caring and tried her best to find the cause of our Diego's illness. We were referred to NIVES by our vet at home. Diego had already had a surgery and many tests but no clear answers. At first we all thought Diego's illness was only liver related because his numbers were so bad, so she gave him different medications for that. My cat is having health issues and was referred to the cardiologist at NIVES. Dr Leffers explained all the problems in terms that I understood, and told me which meds did what. We both appear to have the same feelings as to quality of life. I feel very comfortable with her and won’t hesitate to contact her with questions or concerns.
Minnie, our sweet beagle got into something she shouldn’t have causing excessive vomiting. We called NIVES and they instructed us to complete the registration online before arriving. All the people there took great care of Minnie during her overnight stay.
Although we still haven’t figured out what is wrong with our dog, we were able to get in to a cardiac specialist in a week. She was very kind and thorough.
Absolutely with no doubt did they save my girl’s life! Thank you to the amazing staff that worked on my old girl that started to go septic with a nasty infection. She is back to eating, walking, AND playing days after they started treatment.
