Very pleasant appointment and very nice staff.
Three days ago one of my molars broke and needed attention. I've been a patient of Northstar Family Dental, but hadn't been in for some time. I was able to get an appointment the next day to have my tooth assessed; I knew it would require a crown, at least. Today the Doctor prepped my tooth, and within the next 14 to 18 days, I'll be good as new when the crown is placed. That is great patient-focused service. The Doctor is excellent! The dentist and hygienist team I'm working with are highly knowledgeable and very nice. They are thorough and reasonably priced. I like the way they ask the type of approach I want from them, regarding level of dentistry sought, level of detail I want in explanation from them, and my general concerns about dental work. I highly recommend this practice.
Unfortunately, my experience was stressful with the multiple text reminders, threats to cancel if I didn’t confirm before 7:00 pm. When you all were the ones who canceled and rescheduled my appointment day and time. The receptionist reminding me before I could even sit down that I have a balance from an unexpected $500 appointment from a few weeks ago which I had already paid half on that day even though it was not planned. We had a great time at Northstar family dentist..the entire staff was exceptional including our dentist Dr. Otieno and crew...they are highly skilled and recommended...the best dental office in Lewis Center and surrounding areas..
We always have a great experience at Northstar family dentist...Dr. Otieno and the staff is Exceptional and courteous..they are highly recommended. We always keep going back because there's no substitute.
Very upset with their front staff, we originally went in on May for our first visit. After evaluating my wife Ana we were told she needed a treatment plan for her procedures which included a deep cleaning for the full quad, 3 fillings, a tooth & gums tonic, crest gum detoxify, periodontal cleaning, periodontal progress check, and fluoride and were given an estimate of $853.60 for her whole treatment plan with insurance. Dentist spent three minutes total with me. Never reviewed X-rays but claimed I have cracked tooth and three cavities, she than got up and left.
The team is fantastic and really care about great service
