The new Oaks at Post Road is an amazing facility! The staff is so caring and attentive to the residents. They treat every resident like their own family! The facility is beautiful, clean and an inviting place that feels like home. Highly recommended!!!
My mother has been a resident at The Oaks for 1 1/2 years. She loves her new home. The staff are very supportive and kind to her, and they are in immediate contact with us, her family, should they have any concerns. She enjoys the salon and looks forward to having her hair done every week and the concerts that occur almost daily.
We moved my mother into Oaks at Post Road last week. This was a move from Michigan that required a 12 hour drive with my 89 year old mother. From our first visit to the Oaks, Lynn Stromwall, Community Relations Director, has been a wonderful help in making this move happen. As the move date approached we needed to get paperwork completed by her doctors and of course the Covid 19 test. Lynn was a great help and was there for us all the way. I have absolutely fell in love with the residents and the staff of this facility. Its been pleasant working here for the last three years, it's so much more than an assistant living home.. The oaks family is filled with love, compassion and opportunity. To experience the smiles on the residents faces and the unbreakable bonds built over the years is why I love what I do.
We had 2 family members in this residence and had to move both due to sub-par care. The first resident was improperly cared for after a fall and forced to stand on what ultimately was a broken hip. Reports of the incident were then inaccurately reported to the home office. Multiple attempts to work with the home office resulted in no returned phone calls and no corrective action.
