I was not happy my husband escaped and had to call police to find him. Security is not very good no cameras even as we were leaving even tho they keep the door locked to the memory care a lady came out with me and I realized she was a patient so I got a hold of a tech, I knew as soon as she ask me where her keys were that she should not be leaving. She did have her coat on and purse and I ask if she was visiting and she said yes. The tech are angels to do this kind of work in the memory care unit but the Oaks have such a tur... read more

Assisted Living was good for her for a few months and then she came to hate it so I moved her to Independent. There is not consistency in the staff. Few that have been there awhile and a lot of turnover. Food quality and serving size is good at times and bad at others.

We recently toured the community based on a friends positive experience they had with their mother. It was clean and bright from the moment you walk inside. You can hear a lot of laughter and we were thrilled to see so many active residents. Staff was very friendly as we walked through, and the residents even offered to show us their apartments. The environment was so warm and inviting. It’s definitely our top choice.

My mom has been at Oaks Post Road memory care for a year now, and it has been wonderful for her. The staff is so loving and take really good care of her. She is more active than she was at our previous facility and is doing so much better. It's obvious the staff really cares. It is always such a pleasant atmosphere from the minute you walk in and it's very clean. If you are looking for a facility, I would absolutely recommend. It has become like an extended family.

My mom has been a resident for almost 2 years, and the Oaks has been a blessing for her, and us! The caregivers are compassionate and take good care of her. There are plenty of activities to keep her busy and she has made some really good friends, which was unexpected for this stage in her life. She enjoys the food (which has greatly improved). Management is always responsive and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Oaks at Post Road, for your family and friends!

It has an active living environment with a wide range of activities for all levels of residents. The other community I found was veering toward nursing home level with residents who were more inactive.Excellent staff and nice rooms. Healthy well rounded meals

My Dad moved into The Oaks in April after living with several family members, and has found a loving community here. There are lots of activities and events to enjoy, and his apartment provides comfort and a place of his own. The staff are caring and supportive, and make sure his needs are met. Definitely a place to explore for your loved one.

This was a very nice community with nice staff. They showed us the different rooms available. The community was bigger and the dining room felt like a restaurant. They didn't have availability for our loved one at the time.
