Please do NOT take your loved ones to this facility. From my first hand experience with this facilty, I am downright disgusted with the staff. First things first: these types of hospitals are meant to stabilize people who are either detoxing, or have mental health related issues. I had attempted suicide and was taken to this facility, because they had first open availability. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I spent a week here for depression and anxiety, and this place made me more depressed than I ever had been. The staff was incompetent, unprofessional, and disorganized. They treated us like prisoners. I did not have a room for nearly 5 hours after arriving, despite Oasis telling the hospital there was a room available. The showers were cold and full of mold. The sink in my room did not work. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! We were looking for a facility to help our teenager with his depression and anxiety after being told by a therapist the he needed immediate attention. Oasis was on the list of my insurance and was close to home (so that we would be close). Keep in mind that my son went in of his own free will. Had I been aware of the reviews of this horrible place, he would have gone somewhere else. Don't use. Reported to appropriate agency's for HIPA violations, always out of food choices, cleanliness, treatment and. ........the list goes on.

This is an awful place don't bother, if they are suicide going in they will attempt coming out. The worst staff rude and mean I was a patient and they treated me like an animal.

DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU KNOW OR LOVE GO HERE!!! I was a patient who was admitted involuntarily after going to the emergency room at a hospital following a panic situation which was brought on by my being an assault victim. The hospital gave me a couple of places that I could be transferred to and I picked Oasis because of the name Oasis. HUGE MISTAKE!!! It was a very difficult decision to admit our teenager to a behavioral health facility but we were very concerned about his welfare and hoped that he could get good, intensive, experienced help. This was a voluntary admission. The first question that I asked at his intake was if we could take him out whenever we wanted to, and I was assured that we could. Before you call Oasis, call Valley Behavior Healthcare in Tempe. Trust me. Oasis has many problems and you will feel like escaping after a few hours. The psychiatric and medical doctors are okay but some lie about the medication you will receive or they just don't care when it's medication time at night and the nurses can't help you because there is no order for your medication.
