Wouldn't recommend going here. Low pays and no smoking. Very small gaming room with limited slots.

Just read the story about the breastfeeding mother and the security threat 7 week old baby girl. Well, l've been to Iraq and Afghanistan numerous times, don't think the baby is a security threat, as your security guard. Maybe he should go back to training class.

This past weekend I was at my family's beach house in Ocean City, Maryland when I had a terrible experience at the Casino at Ocean Downs in Berlin, MD and was kicked out for breastfeeding my child. The quoted paragraph is what was sent to the casino and a phone call was made asking for a formal apology and they did not apologize, instead they refused to speak to me. Place is a joke of a casino! Don't waste your money here! We have come and played many times (more than 20 visits) and have only left with money twice maybe 3 times!!! We are not the $20 gambler either... I'm saying over an extended period of time and over $200 on each occasion whether playing one machine or moving around no scenario has ever work out in the players favor!!! Maybe in a bigger area with more turnover would show higher payouts but so far I feel like I am just another contribution to their electric bill!

For every 10 times I visit this place and lose $200 to $300, I have one visit where I win $150 to $380. Not very good. The Wizard of Oz Ruby Slippers should be renamed to The Wizard of Azz Rape! So should some of the other slots. I think they got it backwards on the penny slots payback percentage. They thought it was 14% payback instead of the minimum 86% payback. You really haven't lived until you've been at this casino on Christmas night. If you're looking for some of the best people-watching, this is the place for you. The only redeeming star that saves this review from a 1-star review is the fact alone that it is open on Christmas night. It used to be an old racetrack, but once slots were legalized in MD, the casino was added. However, it has brought a lot of jobs to the area. This is a tiny casino, all electronic. Keep ur receipt for your soft drink in case you forget your cup somewhere, you'll be able to get another cup for free. Not much in terms of food except for sandwiches and pizza basically. Also not open 24 hrs all the time so keep a look out for special hours during holiday or special times of the year.

I have visited 3 times. And 3 strikes. It's not what you want in a casino. The parking lot itself is an accident waiting to happen. The machine selection is very small. There is no buffet. Drink prices are through the roof, and the customer service is non-existent. I also noticed the payouts aren't very often, no matter what denomination machine you choose.
