I came in to get an oil change on my dodge diesel, which takes 15-40 oil, and a transmission fluid change. When I left I noticed the sticker in my window said they used 5w-20 oil, which would be really bad for this motor. When I went back to talk to them about it, they assured me that they used the correct oil and just misprinted the sticker. I did not argue, but the manager, Pedro, instantly offered to do the entire oil change and tranny fluid change for free!! Just to make me feel comfortable! And they threw in a free quar... read more

I used to really like this place but the past few times it has been just ok and heres why. They are slow. always...just two people working there...why? It's backed up so hire more people. I know they rae always selling more crap then we really need. i drive a Prius...it does not need at 35 K miles a bunch of extra stuff...so please... the check in process is lame...have you been here before as you have all ready handed him the sticker with their logo on it? really you cant figure that out and then the check out process is ho... read more

Such nice people! Sometimes car services places just want to get you in and out, but these guys really take the time to make you feel special. Really appreciate the drink and the car fluid education for someone who knows nearly nothing about cars other than when to get an oil change and how to fill the windshield wiper fluid. Yes- they have some up sale stuff, but they are never pushy or rude if you decline. Love that I can get my receipt emailed to me and the system will email me if its been too long between oil changes. I had the most amazing and inspiring experience at the Oilstop Drive Thru Oil Change on Lakeville Street in Petaluma. Antonio "Tony" Ojeda-Lier, the young man who walked over to greet me as I parked my car really charmed me with his professional and courteous demeanor. I appreciated his enthusiasm for the job he was doing. Strike One: They had my name from my plate but address and phone number weren't even close. No big deal. Strike Two: In their little "tray dance" they showed me my rear differential fluid (very dirty) vs. new fluid, clear and clean. One BIG problem: I had my rear differential completely rebuilt about 50 miles before and had all new fluids. Like who knows what their rear dif. fluid looks like. In this case I did! Great location right off hwy 101. Drive thru oil change. Never leave your car. Fully transparent with eveything they're doing. Located right next to the In N Out. Free Vacuums and complimentary car wash. Some upselling. But no high pressure at all. Brian the service manager was very professional. $35 with tax with my coupon.
