Friends joined us at Oliver's Chop House and Bourbon Bar at Derby City Gaming and Hotel in Louisville, KY last night. My expectations were on the low side, but the first impression was very nice. This restaurant is a wonderful place to eat. While it is pricey, you get your money's worth. We all had steaks and they were cooked to our liking. The service was top notch. It is a great place for special occasions.

The food was good and service with Devin was excellent.
We went for the first time for our anniversary & were very happy with atmosphere, service, & food. We shared French onion soup which was delicious. My husband had beef medallions & baked potato & I had calamari & baked potato. The potatoes were big! Served nice & hot. For our anniversary, our waiter brought us a large piece of chocolate/peanut butter pie which we couldn’t finish! Very nice evening.

Absolutely delicious. Shrimp cocktail was soo yummy! Pork chops & steak were very good. Staff from hostess, server and manager were just delightful. It was our 30 year anniversary. Very memorable dinner. Will definitely go back again
