The steaks were very good, perfectly cooked. The cowboy steak was impressive as well as the fillet . For the prices I had figured to least have one side included w/ the meals...that was not the case, however great service and over all experience.

Friends joined us at Oliver's Chop House and Bourbon Bar at Derby City Gaming and Hotel in Louisville, KY last night. My expectations were on the low side, but the first impression was very nice. The restaurant is a very classy place, service was prompt and efficient for the most part and the food was delicious except for one smallish detail, that the restaurant offered to fix. This restaurant is a wonderful place to eat. While it is pricey, you get your money's worth. We all had steaks and they were cooked to our liking. The service was top notch. It is a great place for special occasions.

We went for the first time for our anniversary & were very happy with atmosphere, service, & food. We shared French onion soup which was delicious. My husband had beef medallions & baked potato & I had calamari & baked potato. The potatoes were big! Served nice & hot. For our anniversary, our waiter brought us a large piece of chocolate/peanut butter pie which we couldn’t finish! Very nice evening.
