Very disappointed in this place. Took my cat in for a hair cut under sedation. The cut was uneven, patchy, so close to the skin in certain areas, and in some spots the skin was cut. How do you screw up a hair cut when the cat is sedated? Simple thing to do, but couldn't do a good job of it. Not worth the money they charged. Looking elsewhere for services. Vets were knowledgeable however.

Due to all the construction on route 30 I was late getting my pet to his appointment. I called the hospital to explain I will be late and was told no problem by the receptionist. When arrived (approx 15 mins after the appointment time) I was turned away. Very disappointed.

If you are a small dog owner STAY AWAY. The waiting area is a haven for rambunctious large dogs whose owner's have no interest or capability of controlling. Numerous times my small dogs were harassed or approached by dogs over 30 times their size (putting them in an extreme state of distress). The final time my dog was harassed was his last. An uncontrolled dog over 30 times his size attacked and killed him right there in the corridor. It just seems like on average more large breeds are there and with no policies in place ... read more

I used to go here until I had to wait longer than an hour (I was alone in waiting room) for a vet to show up for our appointment. I used to go here until the vet took a sample from a growth on my dog's neck, which he called "benign" - my dog died of cancer within 2 years (I went elsewhere for a second opinion when it kept growing). I used to go here until I was overcharged for a Kendall county rabies tag (should have been $10; I was charged $25 per dog). We took our two dogs here for their annual a few months back. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, as well as the friendly greeting upon arrival. However, we were far from impressed with the wait and the pricing. Not only were we charged a "new patient chart fee" $5/ dog (2), we were charged for prepaid fecal exams ($21/dog) that we would have to bring back, as they do not perform fecal exams in office.
