I have been trying to get off there mailing list for Months! I have called and Contacted Dave Jeffers a few times with NO Luck! Not sure what part of I DO NOT WANT TO SELL MY HOUSE don't they understand? I would not do Business with this Company ever.
We bought a home through Osborne Homes in 2011. They made our first time buying a home a nightmare! We offered full asking price on the home we now live in and they kept telling us the 'seller' (them) wanted to wait through the weekend to see all offers (to get a bidding war started). After a long weekend they finally accepted our offer on the pretense that we would HAVE to work with their lender, even though we had already been pre-approved through our own lender. To all would be home buyers I want to caution you against; Osborne Homes, Osborne Homes Real Estate and Molly Ohanian. My hope is that if you are looking to purchase a home and or use this real estate agency, do so with extreme caution. They have moved to Irvine CA. 92617. Pestering people to sell their properties at low prices. Stating no repairing "As is" Quick closing. They even state you'll have a personal advisor... Who they employ!?! It's an insult to anyone's intelligence.
These guys are not honest people. Seller beware. You will be better off dealing with a professional realtor to get the most you can vs a low ball offer from Osborne homes! Bad business ethics. Avoid them!!
A year ago, I bought a home in Oakhurst, 'flipped' by Osborne and advertised by their realtor as 'ready'. I had it inspected which turned up a few problems that I thought I could deal with, Since moving in, I have replaced missing window screens, and falling down fence, which I had anticipated, but in addition: plumbing failed, there were electrical malfunctions (some due to work done in the flipping), pieces of railing are falling off, exterior paint (done about a year ago) is chipping and peeling. My family and I are buying our first home. We made a FULL PRICE offer on an Osborne home, and even though we are qualified for a loan from a national lender, they refused to accept our offer because we didn't want to use the lender they wanted. How do you turn down a full price offer?!?! Not to mention, they never even notified our realtor that they were declining our offer. I suspect some shady practices from these people, and I will not recommend them to anyone.
House flipping company. Be prepared to re-repair anything this company has fixed in the home. There made us go through their preferred financing company even though I had pre-approval with the my bank. The reason, they stated, was only their financing company could guarantee a 30 day closing. It ended up taking longer then 30 since the reality company was not as quick to respond to the financing company, our realtor, or the city.
