The staff are very caring, there are a ton of activities, and the food is great! I would absolutely recommend the community to others!
Everyone we worked with was helpful and friendly. I felt that my husband was in good hands.

I had the privilege of meeting one of the original Parsons family members upon my arrival to the Parsons home. I was given an overall history of the family owned home and was very impressed. I got a grand tour of the facility and [name removed] was my tour guide. She made me feel at home straight away. I observed her interacting with different residents along our tour, she is noticeably caring, loving and genuine. I would not hesitate to move my loved one into Parsons House Austin.

They sent a girl to drive me to the facility. They invited me to a delicious lunch. We then toured the facility which was very nice with the exception of the studio apartment kitchen which has no oven, only two counter top burners and a microwave. The refrigerator is a small, game-room size. Otherwise, I believe PH is a good place for me and when my medical records from my physician and a TB test next week, I’ll be moving in after those results are received.

An overwhelming majority of our residents prefer not to cook and enjoy the social aspect of our dining room. However, if you ever need an oven, we do have one available upon request. My father-in-law was very complimentary on his care. He felt he was well cared for. Staff was kind, food was good, and he liked his apartment. He really enjoyed having an outdoor porch to sit on. I was a little disappointed with housekeeping in that the toilet was not cleaned after accidents and it appeared his bedside urinal overflowed at some point. the smell from the carpet furniture, being our only complaint. they're definitely friendly. hard to say because the majority of their care is coming from my brothers and other services. constant turnover in chefs ...my Mom thinks it's a joke. They serve no southern or comfort cooking. I've only seen my parents decline since moving them into Parsons. This is also a byproduct of the hyperinflation in our country. They do not receive handouts

This place is like family and a home more than a facility. There are more than enough people and activities to keep minds busy and make loved ones feel cared for.

The staff is courteous. There are plenty of activities. When I checked it had the lowest price of any facility in Austin. The sales representative is courteous kind and willing to help out prospective residence with financial planning. The meals tend to be too spicy are too salty but they are good and tasty. The maintenance staff might be over extended. Overall Parson's house is a great place to live for my mother.
