Always pleased with Pender. We were so impressed by their exotics department's care of our birds that we recently switched our dog over to Pender too. Despite it being several towns away, it's worth it.

I have been bringing my pets to Pender for over 45 years. Recently my 13 year old pittie became very ill, first vomiting and then bloody diarrhea. She went into the vets on Thursday and was in then equivalent of ICU. By Saturday she was home again. When I went to visit, the vet techs brought her into a waiting room so I could see her. The emergency vets spoke with me and told me what they were doing and why. The entire staff seemed to know her name and when they saw me they asked after her. And... Brenda and Tracy ma... read more

Dr Hyatt and Kayla have done it again! Routine check up for our dog, needed 4 shots and blood taken and somehow our little furry creature LOVES going to the vet. I wouldn’t want to go to the doctor for shots, but it is no doubt the care and kindness of Pender and especially Dr Hyatt and Kayla that make going to the vet not only something that is a breeze but somewhere our dog truly enjoys going. Just amazing care every time. Thank you!

I switched to Pender after almost 10 years at another vet after I received excellent care for my two Aussies from Dr. Hyatt and Kayla. I wouldn't dream of leaving Pender after experiencing the amazing customer service and fantastic medical care my dogs have received!

Pender - as always - handled my fiesty cat with care. They took great care not to stress him out anymore than he was and completed his vaccinations and wellness exam. Even after moving, the quality of care from Pender is still worth the drive.

I was very happy with the care and interest that Dr Yong showed for my pet cat Kerrie. My only complaint is that I sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes before I got seen for a 3:00 appointment. Even that would have been OK, but no one would tell me approximately when/if I would be seen. I kept seeing other patients come and get called for their appointments and I continued waiting.
