My first visit to Pender. Dr Jones was great. She provided me with many options. Her review of my boy was what I wanted to know. I will go back

My best friend… happens to be my dog and I only want the best for him. His health and care is my responsibility and although neither is inexpensive I truly recognize you get what you pay for. PRETTY BOY FLOYD has been receiving TEAM PENDER care since he was 8 weeks old… and now at nearly 10 years old, he is still as much a puppy as he was in 2013. Love, Attention, Patience, and TEAM PENDER… is the formula for a healthy pet. ENOUGH SAID!

Pender has been our veterinarian since 1986. After Julia Finlayson retired, we started seeing Dr Yong Chang. He is very thorough, and willing to provide explanations to us in terms we can understand. We're lucky to have such a wonderful practice so close to home!

We've been with Pender for about 6 years now and have had nothing but wonderful experiences there. Drs. Polnow and Lentz are the kindest humans on the planet. They are knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Most recently, Dr. Polnow saw our senior doggo for what we feared was a terminal issue. She couldn't have been more helpful--and she found nothing to suggest that our pup was in a serious condition--just aging and needed some meds to help with chronic pain. Dr. Lentz is the best Vet in the DMV area. I have taken my pets to vets in Virginia and Maryland, and Dr. Lentz is by far the most patient with my pit bull and my two cats. My dog is a super nervous fella, but Dr. Lentz is as sweet as can be with him. She is also very patient with my aggressive cat. I have taken my pets to other Vets who have been extremely impatient, which doesn't help their anxiety at all. I highly recommend Dr. Lentz and Pender, which is a great veterinary practice. I feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful veterinarian. Dr Denney and Kayla take great care of our two miniature goldendoodles. Dr Denney has a wonderful bedside manner!
