Mr. Kevin received amazing care by Dr Arana and Ashley W! They were so sweet to him! They also explained Kevin’s home care instructions very clearly to me. All of the staff at Pender were very kind to us!

Wonderful care for my naughty poodle. During grooming, her paw was cut open and she quickly developed an abscess which almost went into her bone. Dr. McKinnon and Dr. Yong took excellent care of her....and the technicians as well. My only negative comment: Since Pender became corporate owned, the prices are extreme....even for the medications. One topical antibiotic was $26.00 through Pender, but only $8.00 at Costco. I have been going to Pender for almost 30 years....always excellent care but the current costs are extr... read more

We recently moved our elderly Golden Retriever to Pender and have really liked everyone we have met. The vets, techs, and office staff are wonderful! Kudos to Dr. Valencia, who has become our "go to" vet. She is so gentle with our dog and clearly loves animals.

Dr Voell is the consummate professional combining expertise and compassion that is reassuring. The center is clean, efficient, professional and friendly making for a visit that reduces stress on both the pet and the owner. I highly recommend Pender to any pet owner.

Pender provides excellet care and cares and understands how we feel about our pets. Many speak from the experience of being pet owners themselves. A few years ago I had to have a pet euthanized by Dr. Voell. He sent a sympathay note afterwards; I never forgot how much that meant to me! There are others on staff including Dr. Cranstov (recent visit for dog) who clearly is a dog lover and shows it. Exotic dept. visit recently also reinforced my opinion stated above. I’ve been taking my pets to Pender since 1975 when I was still in high school. I love my vet, Dr. Denney, he is thoughtful and caring and he’s been taking care of my dogs since 2003. He removed a growth from my dog’s front paw and she also had her teeth cleaned. At drop off Megan came to pick up my dog. She was wonderful, patient, warm and caring. I received a call from recovery as my dog was waking up and was told she was doing great. All great care! However, I had requested an IV bag be made into a bootie to protect my dog... read more
