We’ve been going to Pender since I’ve live in Northern Virginia. Dr. Voell is fantastic and we request him every single time we visit. He answers all my questions, explains what is going on, and is just a kind person. One of my dogs has anxiety with going to the vet, he has eased that anxiety a bit and trips to the vet aren’t so scary anymore. Another reason we choose Pender is the confidence and assurance that Pender has everything we would ever need in case of emergencies, that is a relief in itself.
Matt, Diego, and Doctor Reukauf were absolutely incredible when I brought my frog Pippin into their emergency department tonight. Admittedly I was very nervous and they both put down my fears and helped Pippin get back to a healthy state. Thank you so incredibly much for everything you all do!
Briana took care of our dog Ruby on Friday March 24th. She really was great with Ruby. and my wife and I. Well done Briana.
Pender Vet is great. They always have time for my cats to get appointments immediately and give tremendous care. Their Vets, Technicians and Front Desk folks are first class, and its clear they love our pets as much as we do

Love Dr. Voell! Have been taking my cats to see him over many years. He is so kind and good with them. And, he always takes time to answer all my questions and concerns thoroughly.
I had two exams and I have to say that Dr. Hyatt and Kayla were excellent with them both. They did their shots. They took their blood and the cats were happy going home. What a wonderful place to have your cat been taken care of at Pender I would highly recommend, any patient to Dr. Hyatt and Kayla they were so excellent. Thank you so much for the great care.
The staff here is always so friendly and helpful! Kelly was awesome she has such wonderful energy even early in the morning!
