I cannot say enough good things about Pender. They were there for us when we got our Husky puppies, Addie and Torin all the way to the end 14 and 15 years later. Pender helped us keep them healthy and happy and helped us when they passed. We now have a rescue and she loves to go to the Vet and see the great techs and doctors.

Pender Veterinary Centre is the best when it comes to vet care. We have been taking our cat to see Dr. Voell for almost 30 years. The entire staff is very friendly & welcoming. We had an experience years ago when one of our cats was very sick and had been vomiting for almost a week. I ended up taking my cat to a different vet that was much closer to our house (Pender Vet was almost 45 minutes-1 hours away). The vet gave my cat a shot (to stop the vomiting) and sent us home. Dr. Shearer and her staff have always been a complete joy to work with! My dogs absolutely love coming to see her. The receptionists are always warm and inviting and love to say hi to my dogs. 🥰 I genuinely love coming to this hospital!

We always have gotten our cats seen and treated here. Some years ago, I had switched to another closer vet in Ashburn but when they couldn't or wouldn't see my pet right away, I went back to Pender.
This was our first visit with PenderVet and I am very impressed. Met with Kayla and Dr. Hyatt who spoke with us about the pros and cons of neutering a puppy. They were very informative while also being attentive to Casey, our 6 month old Havanese pup. While we have been with another vet for more than 25 years, we really liked it at PenderVet.....finding the building was a challenge but we have it now! Great services at all levels for pets. Love it.
Dr. Hyatt and Kayla were awesome with my dog Derry and I in a difficult situation with a dog that is extremely stressed at the vets. They worked with me to get Derry sedated so they could give him the care he needed to have his checkup and shots. Also he had a hematoma that made it even more stressful. Would highly recommend them and Pender!
