Outstanding Practice. We’ve only been clients with our senior dog, puppy, and cat about a year. I keep thinking each appointment was a fluke awesomeness because they are too good to be true. Our last vet you’d wait to park, wait to be registered wait to be seen, then wait to check out. And everyone seemed stressed to be there- two or 4-legged. I’ve been going to Pender for over 20 years and I’ve always been impressed with their knowledgeable veterinarians and their great customer service. Dr. Flanary has been my dogs personal veterinarian for several years and he’s always assessable and available for any questions.
I am very impressed with the knowledge of the veterinarians here. We came for a second opinion when our cat Silky continued to have unresolved bodily itching. She was frequently scratching herself to open wounds. Dr. McKinnon was gracious, incredibly thorough, and explained things well. Our kitty had infected ears, which were carefully cleaned during the visit, and she prescribed ear drops. We have travelled from Ashburn to Fairfax for almost 20 years to see our family vet, Dr. Voell. He always gives us the best advice and has cared for our dogs like they were his own. All of the staff at Pender have always been wonderful too. Keep up the great work!
Outstanding in all regards. Fast and professional scheduling, outstanding facility. Dr. Jason Flanary continues to provide professional and caring attention to our four legged family members. He goes the extra mile if needed and truly cares about the health and welfare of our friends who can't verbally express their symptoms. Love love love Pender Vet. We trust them so much that even though we moved to DC and tried to switch to a closer clinic, we went back to Pender. You cannot beat their convenience, compassion and professionalism. Dr Voell is our favorite - very experienced, down-to-earth doctor. Have been trusting them for the past 9 years (with a short break in between).

Dr. Hyatt has been providing excellent care for our pets for years. He is particularly good with our cat GiGi who is anxious at the vet. The staff member who assisted him was great and entire process from check in to check out went smoothly.
