We have been bringing our pets to Pender for many years now. Whenever we go, we know they will be taken care of by people that love our animals as much as we do. My pets have been seeing Dr Hyatt for over 15 years and we have total faith in him. He is caring and understands the owner’s needs as well as the pet’s needs. He always returns calls left on voice mail and he can usually always get the pet in to be seen even if he is booked. Hopefully he will be at Pender for years to come. Very pleased with Dr Mikhael's attention and consideration. His physical exam and review suggested and subsequently ruled out potential kidney disease (low specific gravity urine sample as part of a UTI diagnosis). Explanations were easily understood and I was kept informed of lab work progress. We are also taking double advantage of an e-collar to try to break a life-long nervous paw sucking habit. Hooray!!
All the administrative and medical staff are wonderful, especially Dr. Hyatt. I have been using Pender for almost 30 years and I am so grateful for their care.
Dr. Mikheal was awesome! Very detailed in his examination and his bedside manner is remarkable. He explained the situation with our cat so that we understood what was going on and used relatable examples. Very impressed. He lifted the room with his positive attitude and outgoing personality. I would definitly recomend him and the staff.
We left a voicemail for Dr Voell, he called us back and squeezed us in that afternoon. Our dog had suddenly become sluggish and was uninterested in eating. After a thorough evaluation, he decided he was just a finicky eater since all parameters were normal. Great relief. Thanks for being there for us and Murphy.
Dr. Hyatt has been the primary vet for both our dogs and he is phenomenal. Very caring, and a good listener with recommendations tailored to a family's needs. The entire team at Pender is wonderful; our pug had a few eye issues that were urgent but not emergencies- all the vets and techs we saw in place of Dr. Hyatt were skilled and helpful.
We've been taking our cats to Pender for over 20 years and have always been treated professionally and with compassion. We currently have a 12 year old cat who has always been afraid of all strangers, so our vet visits are a challenge. Our latest wellness and shot update visit was performed with almost no waiting time, the team was very considerate of our sweetheart, treated her so well, and we were out in no time. We highly recommend Pender!
