The process itself was relatively painless and efficient. The only issue I had was I was expecting a refund back due to having made a payment right before the refi closed as I was told after making the November payment that my "Grace period" was Nov/Dec. That didn't happen but they adjusted the amount to pay off the loan before finalizing things. Not a big deal, just put a glitch in my plans based on what I was told to expect to happen. Incredibly easy process to refinance my home loan and lower my monthly payment.
Being transparent upfront on the process rather than trying to lure customers in with lower rates/costs. Every time I got a new disclosure the price went up and there was no logical explanation... other than that an error was made initially. I finally spoke to a manager who honored the original costs that we agreed upon to do the refi.
