I brought my 2 chocolate labs to pet paradise to see if it was a good fit for boarding. Within 4 days of them coming home they both had a serious cough that is so scary and I took them to the veterinary hospital that diagnosed them with kennel cough. I contacted Pet paradise to inform them and of course they gave push back that my dogs got it at home which is not possible since we live in an area free of encounters with other dogs. We are new to the area so we decided to try Paradise Pets in Bonita Springs for day care and then for a necessary grooming. We did the day care first. It is a nice clean facility and I had no issue with the day care. The grooming is another problem altogether. We had a Wheaten for 14.5 years and our current Wheaten for 1.5 years. We have experienced grooming every 5 to 6 weeks during this time, which means we have been through 150 groomings at least, and this was by far the worst experience ever. I wanted to provide an update as I finally received a call from the site manager a month after the stay. She acknowledged that the dogs do not get to play in the pool area due to the number of dogs staying there (take note if this is the reason you send your dog there). She continued to say how she "totally understood my frustration" time and time again but did not share how they would actually implement any changes to fix these major issues they have.
