Stop!!!!!! Beware!!! We took our dog here for the first time for a few hrs a week before we were to board her for 10 days while on we were on vacation. She was only there for maybe 4 hours and came home smelling as if she had rolled around in urine or had been bathed in urine. I had to bathe her twice once I brought her home to get the smell off her. When you walk in the door the lobby floor had urine on it and smelled horrible and it was only 9 am. I do not recommend the groomer at Pet Paradise, Cedar Park. She does not know how to use a shaver and cut my dog :(

After moving to Austin from the Houston area, we decided to book our two dogs for boarding at Pet Paradise Cedar Park. We had nothing but great experiences with the Houston Hobby location - their staff was always VERY communicative. We have a 10 year old boxer and 2 year old Frenchie, both of whom are still intact (even though our Frenchie only has one descended testicle and will be getting neutered very soon). DO NOT BOARD YOUR CAT HERE! Their policy is even senior cats with established immunity must have a recent FVRCP vaccination despite being warned by my cat's vet how dangerous that is and against recommendations by the American Animal Hospital Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners. Boarded our small and large dog for 3-days. Small dog came home fine. Large dog came home with horrible uncontrollable bloody diarrhea. After two days at home it was gone. Clearly a stress reaction and has NEVER had one before. Something different here and we won't be back!

I recently took my dog to Pet Paradise Cedar Park for 3 days of boarding. On her third day there, she was attacked twice by another dog. I am not sure if it was the same dog because I got very minimal information about either attack. I was told that there was an altercation earlier in the day and I should have been contacted but I wasn't. It's been nearly 3 weeks and my dog's illness hasn't gotten any better. Still not eating and waking up random hours after midnight to pee. 1st visit to the vet , they gave him antibiotics. Though his diarrhea had stop, but it did not end there. Doctor said he seemed to be under stressed. He's still not eating. 2 visit to the vet, blood work was done, everything checks out. Awful for small dogs! I dropped my small dog off for a trial at Pet Paradise Cedar Park today and have kept an eye on the cameras. It is 2:15 in the afternoon and not once since I dropped him off at 9 have they let my medium-high energy pup out of his small kennel. This is NOT why I wanted to try them out. I wanted him to socialize and maybe expend a little energy. Large dogs were prioritized and the small dogs were left to languish in kennels all day. Will not be paying for this "service" in the future.
