We had a fantastic experience with Pet Paradise. I had used two other groomers in town with mixed results. This time, I was impressed from start to finish. It was easy to book, the check in process was great, and the grooming was top notch. They were gentle and loving with Our pup Milo. We will be using this groomer, specifically Melanie, from now on.

My dog loves coming to day camp and boarding here. I cannot say the phrase "day camp" without him running to the door ready to go! The staff is incredibly kind and I know he is in good hands. I have also found the two training classes we have completed with Valerie to be very helpful and great experiences.

My dog loves going to day camp. She leaps out of the car in the morning and can't wait to play with her friends. The transition from 'small dog' group to 'large' group was easy. The staff is very friendly and often give feedback on her behavior for the day. The facilities are clean and the camera system allows you go watch your dog play with the group. Luckily she is exhausted and well behaved when she gets home!

I brought my 2 dogs here for a 4 night stay. We were greeted with smiles when we walked in and right away we were taken care of. I watched them on the live cam daily when they went outside and they were all wags as they were played with by the staff. I paid extra for the "Furever Connected" package and it was worth it. It was comforting receiving pictures and a personalized update for Shadow and Rey while I was far away from home. we used Pet Paradise for boarding for the first time this week and our dog came back happy! She was very calm and well behaved when we picked her up. We boarded for 2 nights and we do not board often. We definitely plan to come back again. Thak you.

Disorganized and Frustrating Experience I recently took my dog to Pet Paradise for a four-day stay because my regular kennel was full. This was my backup option, and I was hesitant from the start--looking back, I should have trusted my instincts. Make sure you look at the dates on these reviews. Maybe at one point they were good... Before you take your babies here, please look at all the terrible reviews below. There are a few good ones. These are probably from clients who are clueless what is actually happening behind the scenes at this place. Also, the people who have been giving good reviews--my guess is they have had their dogs here for minimal amounts of time. I have had my dogs here for 3+ years, pretty much daily. GO TO DOGTOPIA!! Recently moved here temporarily as healthcare travelers; our dogs have been to daycares throughout the country and this place is awful!! Took them 3 times all of which they spent almost the entire time in crates due to "staff calling out". They told us one day they had 2 employees for the entire facility! Thats insane! If you work at a dog daycare and mass call out leaving dogs to sit in crates you need to find another line of work. I picked my dog up and immediately noticed how dirty he was. when we got home he rolled on his back and I realized he needed to go to the vet immediately. come to find out my dog contracted an std during his stay. if anyone working there even looked at my dog during his 10 day stay they would've seen that something was wrong. for being one of the most expensive dog boarding in Charlottesville it's not worth it on top of coming home straight to a vet bill
