STAY AWAY!!!!! -- Our boarding experience was a dog owner's worst nightmare. Our dogs were completely neglected during their stay at pet paradise. We dropped them off on Sunday morning and they only got a few hours of playtime (confirmed by them) between Sunday and Thursday. I called multiple times for updates but not once did they call me, not to mention I never got through and had to leave voicemails each time. My wife and I, left our Golden Retriever, Chance, at Pet Paradise for 5-nights. We never place Chance in boarding but after trying their day care services thought we could trust them with our boy. We returned to find Chance with a hot spot the size of my open hand. Half of Chance's neck is rotting and he has an ear infection. Pet Paradise says you can call them anytime. OUR DOG'S NECK IS ROTTING AND HE HAS AN EAR INFECTION AFTER BOARDING! KEEP YOUR PETS AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! We took our Chance for boarding here from Wednesday through Monday. They tell you to call as much as you'd like for updates but when we called we couldn't get through to somebody. We tried every day several times a day. We finally got someone on Friday morning by attempting a different extension. Pet Paradise is unresponsive and rude, and prone to last-second cancellations of grooming appointments. Go elsewhere.

I really have tried to like pet paradise . I've taken my dog for quite some time but it's just gone downhill . I am a pet owner who does not cage my dog . The entire point of daycare is so he can play with other dogs . I understand dogs can't be running around all day but there's plenty of day cares where they do not go in kennels and he comes home happy tired and healthy . I'm not sure why pet paradise offers a half day option . The last two times my dog was there for 5 hours he spent ONE HOUR playing and four locked away. ... read more

I took my Jacki there for a 3 day weekend. With her foods and meds.When I went to pick her up, I made another appointed time for her to go there for a weekend. A few days home I opened those med containters to refill for her next weekend trip there. Her meds were never given to her.! Omg what if one of those meds were heart medicine? A few days later I cancelled her next stay there.

Having read all the wonderful reviews, I decided to visit Pet Paradise Palm Beach as I intended to board our Ragdoll cat there. To read all the positive reviews, I was hardly prepared for what I encountered. As soon as I walked inside the facility, the smell of dog urine hit me like a Mack truck - and that was WITH a mask on! The front area, where I waited to speak with someone, was cold, a stark gray in color, and it seemed dirty and depressing. There was not another single customer in sight. First impression was good, they were very nice and my dog seemed happy when I picked her up. As far as the grooming goes, you can barely tell that they dId anything at all. The only thing that is actually noticeable is that her paws were trimmed. Definitely not a groomer that I will be returning to. As a bonus, I later noticed that her tail was matted after the grooming due to a lack of brushing after the bath. Very poor grooming. She does a smell nice, but I could achieve that myself with a simple bath.

Good communication is a must in any relationship and in doing business as well. Did my research, 1st impression, the website and comments looked good except for 2 or 3, the website pictures were great. I was referred, also a plus. I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance, then went for the "Get Acquainted" stay. Walking in to the facility , same great impression, lobby smells terrific and is beautifully decorated with spectacular paintings of different breeds of dogs, you have full view of the lovely a/c'd cat area.
