I'm very disappointed in how my dog was treated. When I picked him up his legs and chest were saturated in urine and vomit. The excuse given was that they couldn't move him. But I found it interesting that the got him to move when it was time to go home. They did try to clean him up with baby wipes. Then after placing him in the car I had to go back in and ask for a dog grooming spray as we were gagging from the smell of vomit. I've been a cheerleader for Pet Paradise in Orlando and Jacksonville, but this location is terrible. I dropped.my dog off in the morning and wrote on my reservation that I would call them if I was later than 5pm. No one said anything about that. When I called a little before 5, I got a msg that if I didnt show up in 10 minutes, they were keeping my dog until the next morning. They told me there was no one on site to release my dog, that no one was there overnight except someone who "lived on the property." They said it was p... read more

This used to be my favorite place to bring my pups. The management has changed and they seem to have a high turnover rate. Having one counter person in the morning is ridiculous when you have people trying to get to work. The young ladies do their best to rush but that is not fair to them. The supervisor Brett is good, maybe they should consider him to run the place. Also it's not fair to us parents who pay for play and the guys just sit outside with the dogs. Today I visited Pet Paradise/West Palm Beach,Fla. I was looking for a new boarding kennel in my area. At the lobby we were greeted by a member of their staff. We asked for a tour of the area and started out. They showed use a few small indoor / day holding pens. When I asked to see the kennel area they said NO, I looked out a window to there play yard and asked to go out to look around they AGAIN said NO, there were no dogs in the play area I just wanted to look around. My sister loves them. Frequents them often. I plan my short trip to see my very ill relative ,so pleasant on phone, very accommidating quote me price knowing its a holiday. I give a call for grooming, they want 25.00 to wash a 10 pd. Yorkie but have no groomer so its just someone doing a wash and dry,nothing else. But the best was the price went up 5.00 night , due to holiday. Thats great, but then she wants 100.00 charged 5 days before I even get there. I can see one night stay but 100.00! I watched the webcam for several weeks off and on and several days in a row before making a final decision on where to place my dog. (as well as toured) My family and I were basically in tears watching a crippled dog get picked on the entire time that the dogs were outside for play time. The same smaller dog kept nipping at his crippled leg and/or tail over and over and over, so much so, that the crippled dog had to keep sitting down to avoid the contact.
