This place has all the bells and whistles I wanted. Clean, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and most importantly my fur baby seemed happy. My dog attended day camp here for about a month with no issues. I boarded him for a few days and he returned with discharge from his eye and one side of his mouth looked strange (I was later told by the vet that this may have come from gnawing on something for an extended period of time). Unfortunately our experience with Pet Paradise was now only disappointing but harmful to our Golden Doodle. The last 2 visits produced kennel cough (vet visits and meds - $220) We took him in just for grooming which caused an infection and 3 additional vet visits and treatments ($300) . The groomer shaved his ears so close that it caused a large abrasion on both ears which bled and became infected. He kept shaking his head for days and appeared to be in a lot of pain. Very COLD and INSENSITIVE along with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE DISREGARD THE BEST CHOICE award!! I have taken my Pom here a handful of times over the last year and a half. Each time, he has shown more and more fear upon arrival. Every time staff assured me he loved it there, had his friends, made friends easily and really enjoyed himself once inside. Well it's been 3 days since we picked our dogs up from this horrible place. Gunner has been unable to bark. The result of either him barking constantly because he was never let out of the kennel or someone jerked his collar and injured his cords. Either way it is inexcusable. I have contacted the owner via e-mail and they never responded. Nothing. Shows how much they care. The play yard in the picture was always empty. I never saw any dogs in this play yard with all the toys.

I never got past Lindsey the receptionist. Not very helpful, unwilling to offer any suggestions for someone in a pinch. I think I would rather send my dog to a place that has compassion.

Hello, I dropped my dogs off Friday, July 17th for a half day play while I was moving. I picked my dogs up and noticed my bigger one, Barkley, was limping. I looked at his paws and noticed that he had HUGE blisters on his feet. I called to ask why my poor pup had blisters the size of his whole pad on his feet and their response was that he must have "skidded" across the grounds throughout the day. I'm extremely disappointed with Paw Beach after today! I have taken my dog to Paw Beach numerous times for doggy day care and have had wonderful experiences with them. However, I recently adopted another dog and decided to take her for her consultation today. When I went to pick her up I was told that she is not welcome back due to her "high energy." Excuse me?!? It's not a bad place, has the pool which is pretty awesome and a decent size playing yard but I just didnt get a great feeling for some reason. I have heard some bad things but wanted to try it out for myself. There isnt anything they did that stood out good or bad. I didnt like how badly it smelt there and I didnt like how the staff didnt seem to enjoy their job. Although the staff was very nice, they blew it in terms of accommodating my dog. Also, as soon as I walked in, one of the staff members released someone's dog towards us. My dog was adopted from a humane society and can have a temper with most other dogs which the staff knew up front. Dogs should be leashed and held while in the check in area.
