Last night, my two sick children and I endured a nearly two-hour wait at the urgent care. Despite the extended wait time during sick season, the medical staff delivered exceptional and compassionate care once we were seen. However, the unfriendly demeanor of the front desk staff marred our experience, highlighting the need for improved customer service.

NP would not prescribe anything for my child and instead just wanted my child to follow up with their own pediatrician the next day and kept pushing it off as viral when it was clearly a bacterial infection. She was not warm at all and dismissive.

Very disappointed tonight I walked in at 10:40 with our son to be seen and was turned away because the doctor had other patients in the rooms and was close to closing time. Pediatric urgent care I would think would have more compassion towards their patients but I guess the doctor is more worried about leaving on time. I suggest they change their hours on their website if they want to turn people away 30 min prior to closing. Never going back after this experience!

Front desk staff needs to be trained on kindness and compassion while working in an urgent care for pediatrics. She rolled her eyes at me when I was unsure if I had completed paper work or had a new insurance since my last visit. When I confronted her on how unpleasant she was she said I DONT NEED TO DO THIS, you are the one who needs to be serviced. And then walked off while I stood there until someone else came out and did not acknowledge what had just ensued.

MD & medical assistant were great; however wait time even with an appointment was over an hour before we were seen. There was one client in the waiting room when we arrived and they were brought in right away when we arrived, then we still waited over an hour. I understand that things go on behind closed doors, but it was very difficult to manage a sick toddler for an extended period of time, when the appointment was secured. We come there often and always have a good experience but this time, we walked in and the front desk woman was very rude and nasty.
We always get great service over at PM Peds. However, they close at 11pm, and I work late. My daughter had an issue that wasn’t ER type, so around 930pm brought her in there. I know it was late but they close at 11p for a reason. The receptionist looked miserable and annoyed when we came in because it was technically slower at that time. They never have enough providers so be prepared to wait. Appointments mean nothing.
