Installed by swimming pool services. Technician didn’t know anything about the product or how to install it. Did not have tools on his truck so I provided them for him. After he left I read the instructions and made the correct installation. But the cleaner stops when it hits a wall. Will not climb. Sits there until the reverse kicks in. Does not clean well at all. My old worn out kreepy crawley does a better job

    Business response:

We suggest the following to help with the wall issue you're experiencing: 1. Make sure that the blue reducing disk was not installed in the quick disconnect. 2. Check that the metal pre-filter is present and not clogged. 3. Make sure that the hose weight adjustment nut is screwed down correctly. 4. Make sure the hoses have been cut as indicated in the instructions. 5. Check that the booster... read more

Product installed and is working well. Zipper is a little rough to close if debris is gritty but otherwise is working great!

    Business response:

Thanks, Karen! Creating quality products that simplify your pool experience is what we aim to do every day. If we can do anything to enhance your experience, please let us know. The hose was to short, so I need to use some of the white hose from the old cleaner. The pool scrubber (Tail) doesn't move around as much as the old model.

Well it’s not any better than the $400 dollar one. Keeps going in circles and the tail doesn’t move regardless of rotating the knob in the back.

    Business response:

Hello Sean, Thank you for your feedback. We have a few tips that may help improve the performance of your pressure cleaner. To help with the Sweep hose issue, we suggest the following: Turn off the booster pump and turn the sweep jet clockwise to increase movement or counterclockwise to decrease movement. For details, see the product manual here: https://www.polarispool.com/-/media/zodiac/global/downloads/tl/tl875.pdf. To help with the circling issues, we suggest: Verify that the wheel RPM's are in the correct range and adju... read more

Backup valve has insufficient pull to back cleaner out of a corner. This after I confirmed that the number of revolutions per minute the wheels were turning is 30 per minute which indicates that my pump is providing sufficient pressure. The result is that I have to manually pull the pump out of corners which results in very inefficient sweeps. I plan to replace this unit And would not recommend this model to anyone.

It's been OK, have gone thru 2 filters after going to the pool store and being told about another filter that helps not blow out the inline filter it works much better and I'm not going thru filters. The Polaris should come with the filter.

    Business response:

Hello Suzanne, Thank you for your feedback. We want to help troubleshoot your pressure cleaner, and we will have a technical support representative reach out to you. All the Best, Polaris

We replaced a “top of the line” Pentair Racer with this unit and the difference is night and day. This unit moves all over the pool, not just in weird, repetitive patterns. It performs remarkably better than the Racer and I’m upset I didn’t toss the Racer to the curb sooner.
