Polaris 3900 doesn’t seem to be any better than the 180. Maybe looks better but doesn’t climb clean any better than the 180..

The tail did not sweep. Brought it back to the store twice. After only one week in the pool, it looked like it was five years old. The hose connector on top had to be finagled just to get it to reattached. After ten days, I have it back. Absolute garbage.

It makes a few rounds and then goes to the shallow end in the curve and sits. It will back up and go directly back to the wall in the curve and sit. I changed the jet nozzle from the 7 o’clock position to the 5 o’clock position and it appeared this corrected the problem. However after a few laps it went back to the curve and butts against the wall until I physically move it.

I've had ongoing problems with the pool cleaner not backing up from a specific location in the pool. I have removed the restriction plate and it seems to work better now. Time will tell!

Pool tech came out to set up. When I got home the vac was hung up and not functioning properly. Called company purchased from and was told to bring it in to look at. I purchased the product and arranged for set up as I didn’t want I deal with all this but here I am hauling in a brand new product to determine why it is not operating appropriately after being installed by the business from which I purchased

The Polaris unit is working fine. Had to remove the step down pressure disks (both red and blue) as unit did not function correctly with either of them in place. (Polaris pump is only 2 years old, so pump pressure is fine). Still waiting for $200 rebate - applied on line but have not gotten any acknowledgment that it has been processed.
