Trouble free, does not get stuck on the bottom drain, easy to clean. Does not get the dirt at intersection of vertical walls and horizontal bottom. It seems to float over dirt without cleaning it on rounded bottom edges but eventually it gets most of the dirt. I leave it in the pool and programmed to clean every day. Seems well built and always gets itself out of trouble such as on stairs. It has freed up some of my time cleaning the pool.
Works great
We have a fibreglass pool that the cleaner does a decent job getting the twists and turns cleaned. Even dies a good job getting the sand with the standard filter. Quite happy with it!

The 9450 does a good job except in pool corners. This is to be expected. I brush the debris away from the corners so that the 9450 can remove it.
I love it.
We had a Dolphin type cleaner for 10 years. It was a pain taking out the cleaner from the pool and then cleaning the cloth bags. The Polaris is directed to the point you want it to come up out of the pool and when pulled out of the pool, there isn't a mess of stuff drops out. We purchased the ultra fine filter and now cleans better than the filter that comes with the unit. My wife and I are very pleased.
Cleaner works well on walls and floor but has trouble with stairs. Otherwise works great.
