The 9450 does a good job except in pool corners. This is to be expected. I brush the debris away from the corners so that the 9450 can remove it.
I love it.
We had a Dolphin type cleaner for 10 years. It was a pain taking out the cleaner from the pool and then cleaning the cloth bags. The Polaris is directed to the point you want it to come up out of the pool and when pulled out of the pool, there isn't a mess of stuff drops out. We purchased the ultra fine filter and now cleans better than the filter that comes with the unit. My wife and I are very pleased.
Cleaner works well on walls and floor but has trouble with stairs. Otherwise works great.
I love it. Cleans everything including walls and stairs.

I love it, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. No more need to install some parts in the skimmer and hoses; you simply immerse the Polaris turn it on and it works. Best purchase ever.
We absolutely love our Polaris 9450. We purchased this unit about 3 weeks ago, and this by far, was the best $1000 dollars we have ever spent!! I would love to give this unit 5 stars, but in reality, it would be 4 1/2 stars. The unit itself is great, it cleans better then I do with a vac, if it flips over, it can flip itself back over. So the only problem we have, is the cord tangles and it can be frustrating to untangle. Maybe over time , with some more use, the cable won’t tangle as easy. Dear Adrian, Thanks for sharing your valuable feedback. Here are some suggestions to improve the cord tangling issue: 1) Remove the cleaner from the pool and lay the cable across the pool deck to relieve coiled memory. 2) Allow the cleaner cable to enter the pool at the center of the length of the pool 3) Only use enough cable to reach the farthest point from the cable entry location 4) Gently toss the necessary cable across the pool water for even distribution instead of dropping the cable in a lump in one spot.
