I am very pleased with it. It does a great job.However the control unit is very susceptible to moisture. I put the unit in while I was mowing and we had a brief shower. When I came back the unit was inoperable, would not accept any programming with the buttons, and just kept flashing a series of 0’s. After it dried out it began working perfectly again. I think your description of it being water resistant should be more on the cautionary side.Other than that I feel it is a great product.

This is our 2nd Polaris (I call her Polly) pool cleaner. She is very easy to use and to take in and out of the pool. And I love the ease of cleaning the basket.
